Lonely Widow

She sits in the darkness of her world, all alone.

No one to talk to, awaiting the phone.

He was always the joker, but he was her life.

They were always together, just husband and wife.

But now he’s departed, alone she must stand.

No one to share with or just hold her hand.

Her mind gets confused. Days and nights all as one.

For this heart broken woman, life holds no more fun.

One day she will follow and together they’ll be.

Then she’ll be happy, but I ask you “will we”?
